La Orotava was home to several of the island’s richest families who settled here after the Spanish conquest
El Teide is the island's volcano in the centre. It is over 12,000 ft high at the summit and offers the most breathtaking views in the whole of spanish territory.
Vilaflor is the highest village in Spanish territory.
